GAP Solutions Inc Personnel Assistant I in Ft. Riley, Kansas
Position Objective: Support of the mobilization/deployment and demobilization/redeployment cycle occurring simultaneously for all branches and components of the Armed Forces.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs briefing of the process and importance of completing every SRP station and insuring that all personnel processing through the SRP Site have completed all stations which include: Medical, Dental, Personnel, ACS, Chaplain, Legal, Finance, Audiology, and Behavioral Health.
Performs as the authoritative source on the interpretation of the rules and regulations as applied to specific circumstances within the Personnel arena for all branches and components of the Armed Forces.
Coordinates Manifest Team missions with the Logistics Operations Center (LOC).
Performs all personnel actions related to mobilization, demobilizing, deployment and redeployment.
Performs data entry into the DARTS system upon soldier’s completion of the SRP site.
Prepares, maintains and processes retirement requests.
Provides Electronic Military Personnel Office (EMILPO) and database support for existing and future database management and software programs.
Provides military HR support to installation permanent party population as a result of deployment of AC Soldiers.
Shall be required to provide informed representatives to various meetings for planning, training, and/or assessments.
Ensures Privacy Act information is maintained in accordance with applicable rules and regulation.
Exercises discretion at all times; limited judgment may be necessary at times.
Performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, clerical and secretarial duties. Operates general office equipment such as: personal computer, copier, adding machine, and facsimile.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have basic computer skills to use software including iPERMS, TRANSPROC, DARTS, WebTAADS, Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
Ability to work outside normal duty hours including 24 hour operations and shift work.
Previous experience supporting Human Resources departments with high volume processing of personnel preferred.
Knowledge, experience, and skills in the areas of military personnel and similar programs, as well as an understanding of the US Army is preferred.
